A Space Where Therapists Can Gather, Connect, and Deepen Clinical Practice
Erin L. Neill, PhD, LCSW, EMDRIA Certified Therapist™ and EMDRIA Approved Consultant™ started her psychotherapy practice, HEART Counseling in the summer of 2021 with a belief that, “health and healing can be achieved through education, active participation in your treatment, and the use of effective, research-based treatments.” By fall 2023 HEART Counseling had grown into a group practice.
In 2025 Dr. Neill and her staff were discussing all of the continuing education they wanted to find the time for, and how some CEs are so much better than others. Like a true millennial, Dr. Neill thought, “I can do this better!”
In the summer of 2025 she began working on a new entity that could not only offer the continuing education that her staff wanted, but offer those courses to other therapists as well.
Enter: Root + Evolve Wellness.
Root + Evolve is a place for therapists to learn, connect, and grow – together.
With a firm footing in the present, and honoring the wisdom of our past, we seek to continue to grow, learn, and push ourselves to be better.

Erin is a strengths-based, trauma-informed clinical social worker.
She works with kids as young as 10, teens, college students, young adults, and adults. She is also particularly passionate about perinatal mental health and working with parents at all stages.
Erin cares deeply for her clients and is passionate about helping them live their best lives.
